All people here are nice and kind. They definitely know what they are doing and make you know about every step. I may say I’m very impressed with the detailed documentation provided about their diagnoses and the repairs done. No surprises, no extra charges. They stand after their word and work. They are also very punctual. As a result, great service and hospitality. Definitely will go there again for any kind of problem; strongly recommended!

Gary provided exceptional customer service. Him and his staff are incredibly knowledgable. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a car repair.

I love this shop. I own 3 Volkswagens (2 older models) and a 2012 VW Beetle S. Honest-1 Auto Care was able to work on my car as well as to improvise on a repair I needed on my Beetle. I highly recommend this shop as it is a husband and wife duo running this shop. Professional, efficient, affordable, and all around excellent experience. I will definitely return and I am especially grateful to find a honest mechanic in NJ.

So. I was a skeptic because of all the rave reviews but I will say, they are warranted. The owner Gary was a great host and even became my Uber driver during the process. Very knowledgeable, polite and empathetic. The mechanic came in an gave me a very detailed walkthrough on what I needed done. All in all, I've found my new shop. Thanks again.

Automotive Service Experts!! I'm in the same business as these guys and have never written a review for another shop until now. Working for dealerships, manufacturers, and the largest automotive service company in the country for the last 30 years I can say Gary and crew are extremely professional, highly certified, and one if the highest reputable shop in the area. Great job Gary!!

Honest 1 was extremely helpful and fair. . They set up an appointment, checked my car out, and had it fixed on the same day, all while checking for other problems with my car. . .They were extremely helpful with problems that they couldn't fix as well, referring me to another great place and actually getting me the number to make sure I was in great hands! My fiance referred me to them, and now I'll be referring all my friends to them as well! Wish I would've come here sooner, they definitely have a long time customer in me!

I'm not one to write reviews especially since I found them during a google search and now I'm adding my review to the list. Gary = not your typical mechanic shop owner - warm, knowledgeable/experienced and kind. Not very "mechanic-y" I know... but that's what you get, like it or not. And boy, do they know their stuff. Fixed a problem that I had on my truck when others were beating around the bush with "possible" cause of the problem. Plot twist: The warm, knowledgeable/experienced and kind traits don't begin and end with Gary - apparently everyone working there possesses them too. Ha!

Gary and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to answer all of my way and provide excellent service. This place truly lives up to it's name!
