Gary and his team at Honest-1 Auto Care are exactly that.. HONEST and they CARE! I absolutely recommend stopping by just to meet Gary and ask questions if you're unsure about anything involving your car. This is coming from a guy that has always done what he can do on his own avoiding mechanics due to bad experiences in the past. But as the powers that be are my witness, I have finally found a place that is fair, transparent and just super friendly and caring. This is my pit stop going forward no matter how far I may need to travel. SECOND VISIT Sept 20, 2018 My second visit with Gary and team involved my car - an '09 Hyundai Elantra - that was eating up the insides of the two front tires really bad. I've had this problem for several years and always thought it was an alignment issue which I had done twice but never did that solve the issue. Gary was the first to not only inspect if first at no cost to actually confirm the issue was alignment related or not. It ended up being inner tire rods that were bent out of shape causing the tires to wear considerably in the insides. We replaced the rods and I slapped on new tires to have Gary align the car as well. It's finally fixed and i couldn't be more happy. TO TOP IT OFF, my car has over 200K miles and I had asked Gary to add one more job to the mix and have my transmission oil flushed, replacing the filter and anything else. I had drained it myself a couple times and replaced, but never flushed so I thought it time to do it. And this is why I gave Gary such high marks in my first review and why I said I will always come back here if the job is too big for me. When it came time to pay the final bill, I asked about the transmission figuring I would hear how bad it was. Instead, Gary said he didn't do the transmission job because after his team checked the fluid and test drove, everything was clean and there was no need. Keep in mind, this is close to a $300 dollar job and just about anyone else would have pocketed. Not Gary though. HONEST, CARING, and just simply a GREAT human being.. and that includes his whole team! I said it once.. I'll say it again... I don't care where i'm living from here on out.. I will only ever service my car or any of my family / friend cars with Gary and his team at Honest-1 Auto Care. Why, because they care and because they do what's right.. every time! THIRD VISIT August 27, 2021 Took my sister's Accent to do a timing belt replacement. I always said I'd only go to Gary if ever I felt the job was too big for me. And again, Gary's team did not disappoint. The gentleman handling the repair was Richard and what a fantastic individual. He took time to place the car on the lift, and evaluate with me there to explain what needed to get done. And once again the HONESTY blossomed where Richard recommended replacing the fan belts being they were cracked badly and there would be no labor because they had to come off regardless to get to the timing belt. I tell you, its a relief knowing when a gentleman like that had your best intentions at heart and he doesn't even know me. Phenomenal team!! Take it from a guy who had a hard time trusting...Honest-1 Auto cares about workmanship, cares about the customer, and cares about being fair. Keep up the great work Gary, Richard, Mike and team!
